Certified Nursing Assistant

About this role

Healthcare Staffing Professionals has an immediate need for a Certified Nursing Assistant to work in a state hospital located in Fulton, MO. 

Pay Rate: $20-22/hr | *Any hours worked over 40 in a one-week period (Sunday – Saturday) will be paid at the rate of 1.5 times the hourly rate.

Location: Fulton, MO

Schedule: CNAs will be scheduled to work dayshift hours from 6:45am to 7:15pm on the following schedule: two on; two off; three on; two off; two on; three off

Duration:   90 days with possible extensions up to one year.

Job Duties:

• Provide basic nursing care and support (VS, hygiene, ambulation, transfers)
• Documentation of patient location, status, activities
• Escort patients as needed within and occasionally outside the hospital
• Assist in keeping patient common areas clean
• Contributes to patient/staff safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations
• Initiates corrective action as appropriate
• Contributes to continuity of care by effectively communicating changes in patients' conditions
• Complies with FSH infection prevention and control policies and procedures
• Demonstrates procedural competencies for assigned tasks
• Complies with all FSH/DMH policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
